You swim in lakes. You swim in oceans. Fish use both as their bathroom. Compared to that, a properly maintained pool is pretty civilized. Leaves, sunscreen, sweat, dirt, and other organic matter end up in every pool. That’s normal. Water doesn’t need to be perfect—it needs to be properly sanitized and balanced.

So don’t panic over every leaf or every test result that’s slightly off. Test regularly, maintain sanitizer levels, make small adjustments, and let the water do what it’s designed to do.
